Codex Integrity Limited are involved in numerous engineering projects that require specialist knowledge and experience. Typical examples include:

•     Mobile offshore unit to fixed platform interfacing

•     Openwater intervention (riser and riserless)

•     Pipeline and topsides decommissioning

•     Heavy lift installation - jackets and topsides

•     MODU stacking and preservation

We provide the support necessary to ensure safe interfacing and combined operations of mobile units to fixed offshore installations. Our interfacing approach includes the integration of the following systems:

•     ESD and fire & gas

•     Electrical systems

•     Telecommunications

•     Deluge and firewater

•     Navigational aids

•     Personnel and utility access

For complex interfaces, our typical approach includes:

•     Agree interface policy and strategy

•     Identify ‘Safety Case’ and ‘Written Scheme of Verification’ requirements

•     Generate technical specification and design documents

•     Facilitate HAZID, HAZOP and risk assessments

•     Create HSE bridging documentation and operational procedures

•     Generate all interface technical drawings

•     Produce ‘Connection’ and ‘Disconnection’ work packs

•     Organise ‘Bills of Materials’ and ‘Third Part Equipment’ tracking

•     Perform pre- and post-installation condition surveys

•     Provide site interfacing construction team labour

•     Interact with Independent Competent Person (ICP) and Warranty Surveyors to ensure full compliance

Codex undertake the engineering and field support for well intervention activities, including deepwater operations. We cover the following:

•     Scope of work generation - well stimulation, work-over and abandonment

•     Vessel specification

•     Equipment and pumping spread identification and specification

•     Vendor and vessel selection

•     Pre-mobilisation and mobilisation supervision; marine logistics

•     Intervention activity management

•     Demobilisation and reporting

Decommissioning contingency, planning and execution is of ever greater importance, particularly within the more mature fields both offshore and onshore. Codex are involved in a number of projects, primarily pipeline decommissioning, where engineering support and regulatory compliance is the primary client requirement.

Recent projects include the installation of jacket structures and topside modules including the Conwy platform, Liverpool Bay.

Particularly during the extended of period of low oil prices and subsequent reduction in exploration activities, Codex Integrity Limited have experienced personnel in the development of rig stacking procedures together with detailed preservation procedures for all equipment items. This helps to ensure the protection of valuable assets and ease of reinstatement when the installations return to contract hire.
